Those planning to watch Wonka, starring Timothée Chalamet, can enjoy a meal at IHOP beforehand to help get in the Oompa Loompa spirit.
Starting on Monday, Nov. 27, IHOP will offer six new menu items inspired by the film that follows Willy Wonka as a young adult as he launches his famous chocolate factory. And they sound scrumdidilyumptious!
The first new Wonka IHOP offering, according to food blogger Markie Devo, is the Hoverchoc Pancake Tacos, described as "3 silver dollar chocolate pancakes folded and filled with chocolate chips, creamy cheesecake mousse, fresh sliced strawberries & a chocolate drizzle." (And served with extra strawberries on the side.)
You can also snag the Daydream Berry Biscuit, which is a "warm & flaky buttermilk biscuit split & filled with creamy cheesecake mousse & a mixed berry topping, topped with purple cream cheese icing & powdered sugar."
If neither hit the spot, IHOP will have Wonka’s Perfectly Purple Pancakes on standby. Devo describes this menu item as "2 purple buttermilk pancakes layered with creamy cheesecake mousse & topped with purple cream cheese icing, whipped topping & gold glitter sugar."

Those who aren't in the mood for breakfast but still want to celebrate Wonka can order can try the Fantastical Wonka Burger—a Black Angus beef steakburger with lettuce, tomato, pickles, onion, four-cheese blend, two strips of bacon, four-cheese blend, fresh hash browns, IHOP sauce and ranch drizzle on a brioche bun. (Also served with a choice of side.)
You can wash down your Wonka-inspired meal with a Dreamy Lemonade or a Scrumdiddlyumptious Strawberry Hot Chocolate.
The Dreamy Lemonade is a "prickly pear flavored lemonade served with a cream cheese icing rainbow sprinkle rim & topped with a cloud of cotton candy." Meanwhile, the Strawberry Hot Chocolate is hot cocoa flavored with strawberry syrup and "topped with whipped topping, a drizzle of chocolate sauce & gold glitter sugar."
Although IHOP's Wonka menu drops on Nov. 27, folks must wait until Dec. 15 to catch the film in theaters.
