Ina Garten’s Triple Chocolate Cake Loaf

If you can't get enough of Ina Garten's chocolate pecan meringue torte and you dream in shades of chocolate fudge, this recipe is for you.

"These Triple Chocolate Loaf Cakes are so chocolatey – with cocoa powder, bittersweet chocolate, and semisweet chocolate chips," writes Garten in her latest post on the Ina's World blog. "The recipe makes two cakes, so you can keep one for yourself and give one as a beautiful gift."

The delightful dessert comes from the Food Network star's new cookbook, Cook Like a Pro: Recipes and Tips for Home Cooks, which came out this October. The full recipe —which you can get on Garten's website here — includes many pantry staples (all-purpose flour, instant coffee granules, granulated sugar, etc.) with a few special additions like chopped walnuts, which lends the final product a barely-there crunch. Of course, the recipe also calls for three types of chocolate: Bittersweet chocolate, unsweetened cocoa powder, and semisweet chocolate chips to round out the mix.

Meanwhile, as you prepare to electrify your taste buds with one of Garten's finest desserts to date, consider also whipping up Garten's three favorite no-effort appetizers to balance out this triple chocolate grand slam.
