How Incarcerated Todd Chrisley Feels About His Family's New Show
Todd Chrisley is all for his family making another reality TV series while he and his wife Julie are in prison.
The former Chrisley Knows Best star's lawyer Jay Surgent shared a statement with TMZ, revealing that the 54-year-old is "thrilled and happy" that his children are planning a new show and "hopes it'll depict the devastation his family has been facing" since the parents' imprisonment.
The publication also notes that though Todd will not be part of the series, his children Chase, Savannah, Grayson, and Chloe will star alongside the patriarch's mother, Nanny Faye.
The upcoming series was announced by Scout Productions on Aug. 14, which is described as a continuation of Chrisley Knows Best.

Rob Eric, Scout Productions' chief creative officer, noted in the press release that the Chrisleys are "ready to bring their signature heart and quirk back to the fans."
Oldest daughter Savannah also shared a statement, explaining, "The time was right to share our story and we couldn't have found better partners in Scout Productions. [Their] ability to balance popular culture and empathy through authentic storytelling is unrivaled, and I know they're going to find the right home for this next chapter of our lives,” adding, “We're so happy to be back."
The news of the Chrisley family's return to TV comes nearly a month after Savannah and Chase discussed the alleged inhumane conditions that their parents have faced in prison, including no air conditioning during the summer, as well as dealing with snakes, black mold, asbestos, and lead-based paint in their cells.
The parents are currently serving time in prison for tax evasion. Todd is expected to serve 12 years in prison, while Julie will be locked up for 7.
