This Inflatable Island Is the Only Place You'll Want to Be This Summer
If you're looking for a very different kind of summer vacation, look no further. You can now jump around all day on an inflatable obstacle course that's so massive it calls itself The Inflatable Island.
Located in the Philippines, the floats take up more than 45,000 square feet—roughly the size of 10 basketball courts!—which includes slides, towers, bridges, swings and even human launchers (I didn't even know these existed, but now I have to try it). Bonus: You can party all day for only $17.
And for anyone who's still not over the unicorn trend (no shame in that!), you'll also find the world's biggest inflatable unicorn. Unicornzilla is a gigantic float that also happens to be a pool you can lounge in. Meta, right? If that's not your style, you can relax at one of their unique lounges: the Pink/Yellow Bali Lounge and the Sunflower Lounge. The name pretty much gives it away, but the Sunflower Lounge is a section of the beach that is covered in 1,500 yellow daybeds with sunflower umbrellas. The Pink/Yellow Lounge is also filled with daybeds for you to sunbathe in.
There are actually two Inflatable Islands: one in Subic Bay and one in Mactan, Cebu. All of the attractions mentioned above are at the Subic location (so don't go to the Cebu location looking for Unicornzilla). But you will find a lot of similar attractions at Cebu, like floating cabanas, a lounge full of daybeds with colorful faux palm trees, slides, and an obstacle course. FYI: It calls itself the newest "Instagram Summer Capital of the Philippines," so if you're only in it for the 'gram, this may be the spot for you.
