In a complete surprise turn, it looks like Injustice 2, the fighting game all about superheroes beating each other up in increasingly absurd ways, is coming to PC after all, and it's very soon. The original Injustice game, Injustice: Gods Among Us, was mostly well-received on PC, although had some serious issues with performance on some people's PCs. Injustice 2 looked to be a console exclusive, as it launched in May this year without any PC support on PS4 and Xbox One.

Now, QLOC are porting Injustice 2 to PC, bringing NetherRealm Studios' game to Steam and the Windows store later this year. How exactly it's going to interact with the multiple online events that PS4 and Xbox One players have had access to, and whether it's going to have a different schedule or jump in where PS4 and Xbox One are currently at, is unclear.

A beta was planned to start on October 25, but has no been delayed, with the official Injustice 2 Twitter account asking people to "stay tuned for more information." It's unclear why the open beta was delayed, and when it will start up.

The price and final release date also aren't confirmed, with the current release date listed as "Autumn", meaning in the next month and a few weeks. We'll update when we hear back about the open beta and final release date.

Update: The Destiny 2 open beta has since been delayed, with this article updated to reflect this.
