Miranda Kerr, model and founder and CEO of Kora Organics skincare, teamed up for a new venture with Universal Furniture to launch her first home collection at the end of 2019. Designed to bring love, joy, and bliss from Kerr's sunny Southern California home to yours, Miranda Kerr Home is now debuting today on One Kings Lane, who is serving as the exclusive online retail launch partner. And what better way to display Miranda Kerr Home than in her fresh and airy Malibu home?

Kerr's 51-piece collection of feminine chic home furnishings and decor was designed to be as practical as it is beautiful. As a mother of three boys, Kerr knew it was important for her collection to be truly livable, so much of the seating is covered in performance fabrics and the tables are designed to be beautiful enough on their own without a need for displaying any breakable trinkets.

"I’m not one to have an ‘off-limits’ room where the kids are not allowed, which is why we used performance fabrics on the couches and lounge chairs so they can easily be cleaned,” Kerr says to One Kings Lane.

Miranda Kerr Home, much like Kerr's personal design style, prioritizes soft neutrals for furniture and thoughtful pops of color in textiles, artwork, and accessories, as shown throughout her entire home. Kerr says she was extremely hands-on throughout the entire design process, ensuring every piece of this collection felt just right.

“I actually came to my first meeting with Universal prepared with a full mood board, color palette, and swatches of fabrics—they were very impressed,” she says. “I shared my vision for each piece, from design and sketching to materials, fabrics, the colors and different tones and textures, through to prototypes and finished products."

This versastile collection of tables, beds, seating, and mirrors offers something for everyone, whether you're a modernist or traditionalist, and Kerr hopes every piece can inspire or uplift your home.

“I wasn’t necessarily trying to fill a hole in the market per se,” Kerr says. “I just wanted to create the beautiful pieces I envisioned in my mind that I wanted to have in my home—keeping both elegance and functionality in mind.”
