On Tuesday, October 26, Town & Country celebrated its 175th anniversary with an intimate dinner at Les Trois Chevaux, chef Angie Mar’s celebrated new hotspot in Manhattan’s West Village. The evening kicked off with cocktails and toasts from T&C editor in chief Stellene Volandes and Mar before guests—including Jay McInerney, Christian Siriano, Daniel Minahan, Alejandra Cicognani, Marcus Teo, Sally LaPointe, and a crowd of T&C staff and contributors—enjoyed a lavish dinner of the chef’s classic French-inspired dishes and cocktails masterminded by bar director Antanas Samkas. It’s not every day that an iconic American brand celebrates a milestone like this, and fittingly it’s not every restaurant that’s special enough to host such a fête. In this case, both T&C and Les Trois Chevaux have a true appreciation for history, but keep their eyes firmly on what’s yet to come.
