Introducing, Gender-Neutral Denim

Denim brand Mother is introducing a gender-neutral capsule collection in honor of the LGBTQ community, self truth and equal rights. The 10-piece range, called "Love Your Other," is a mix of sweatshirts, graphic tees, jeans, jumpsuits and jackets that aren't restricted for any particular gender. Proceeds will benefit Self Evident Truths, a photo project documenting 10,000 people across the U.S. that don't identify as "100 percent straight."

"If we know that discrimination is based in fear, then creating visibility is the most powerful tool we have," said iO Tillet Wright, founder of Self Evident Truths. "Help people to know each other, and they will discriminate less."

Items feature phrases like "Labeless," "Not 100%" and "Mx." reflecting the collection's themes of gender-fluidity. "We were inspired by the concept of doing away with labels and blurring the lines of gender and sexuality," said Tim Kaeding, designer and co-founder of Mother.
