Ireland Baldwin Announces Birth of First Child With Adorable New Photo
Alec Baldwin is officially a grandpa!
His daughter Ireland Baldwin gave birth to her first child with boyfriend RAC (whose real name is André Allen Anjos). The model announced the news with a selfie from the hospital bed cuddling up with her partner and newborn daughter Holland.
Ireland shared the name of her baby during an appearance on podcast Girlboss Radio in January, where she revealed that she named her daughter after Holland Taylor.
"I love the actress Holland Taylor. I've always loved that name since I was young, I just thought that was such a classy, beautiful name, so we're going with Holland," she explained.
Fans and famous friends took to the comment section to send their well wishes, including Rumer Willis, who wrote, "Omg omg hi sweet girl ?? we can’t wait to squeeze you ??."
Musician Bishop Briggs added, "OMG OMG SO HAPPY FOR YOU," while cousin Alaia Baldwin Aronow noted, "But you look so pretty."
The 27-year-old documented her pregnancy on social media, from the joyful moments of expecting to the painful ones. In January she wrote a candid Instagram post about the downside of pregnancy.
"Pregnancy is hard. It takes so much out of you. I wasn't ready for that. I've always wanted a baby with the right person. I grew up with a very jaded perception of what love really looked like and I always wanted to have a child of my own with someone who would treat us right and love us unconditionally," she wrote.
Ireland continued, "All of that is extremely difficult. But I underestimated just how hard pregnancy would be on my mind and my body. Being someone who deals with extreme health anxiety on a daily basis, pregnancy turned things into a high gear."
She added, "I've struggled to adapt to these changes. Bodily sensations. Pains and aches. Organs going to shit randomly. I know everyone has an entirely different experience and mine is easy compared to most but f--k it's a struggle. it's so hard to have so much pressure on yourself. Forget the physical aspect…I feel like my brain and thoughts are going to war every single day. Mental warfare."
We're sending congrats to the happy family!
