Italian-Inspired Wedding with Autumn Hues at Villa Montalvo
This wedding has me on overload, in the best kind of way. The Bride's elegant loose hairstyle, the artful blooms by Amanda Vidmar, the color palette so pretty you want to eat it, the sweet pup, the venue... you name it, this wedding has it. With planning by Natalie Choi Events, every step of the way is carefully designed for these two beautiful people. The best part? Jen Huang captured every moment so that each and every image stands stunningly on it's own, yet tells the complete story when strung together.
From Jen Huang... Julie and Creighton were wed on an afternoon in September filled with dreamy, golden light on the beautiful grounds of Villa Montalvo, a historical private estate now restored into a lovely wedding venue. Inspired by seasonality and Julie's romantic vision for her wedding, rich autumnal tones were woven throughout their wedding design, balanced with romantic, delicate blooms to complement the lush grounds of Villa Montalvo. Julie made her grand entrance into their ceremony walking down the dramatic, tree-lined pathway in the estate garden where Creighton was waiting for her at the end of the aisle, ready to exchange both vows and rings. Later that evening, guests dined al fresco on the veranda at long banquet tables set with gold-accented tableware and velvet linens, adding an elegant touch to their organic decor. Julie surprised Creighton with a song she performed for him and their guests during dinner, which was followed by their sweet first dance. Their celebration could not have been complete without the presence of their fur baby, their cute pup Summer. After dinner, guests were treated to sweets which included macarons, cookies, and a Asian-inspired black sesame cake decorated with gold foil and blooms matching their floral decor. Julie and Creighton spent the rest of the evening lounging on the veranda with their guests, enjoying the warm September evening while sipping on wine and champagne.
