Iverstine Butcher expands menu for Restaurant Week

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – Iverstine Butcher and Iverstine Farms, 7731 Perkins Road, is launching a dinner service during Restaurant Week.

The business works with local farms to bring customers grass-fed beef, pastured pork and pastured poultry. Typically, Iverstine is only open for breakfast, lunch and butcher services.

The owner, Galen Iverstine said, “We do breakfast in the mornings and lunch until 2 p.m. This has been a really good opportunity for us during restaurant week to launch into dinner service for the fall.”

He said, “We wanted to have more opportunity to kind of highlight the artistry and talents of our butchers on an evening menu.”
