It's been a messy few months for beauty vlogger Jaclyn Hill to say the least, but she just wore a costume that made it clear that she's over her recent drama. Earlier this year, Jaclyn tried to make her mark in the product space with the launch of her own brand, Jaclyn Cosmetics. The launch included a range of nude lipsticks, but fans allegedly claimed that they got a lot more than just lipstick when their orders arrived. People who bought Jaclyn's lipsticks took to Twitter to claim that they found tiny hairs, small granules of an unidentified substance and other contaminants inside their makeup. Even other YouTubers called her out. Jackie Aina seemingly shaded Jaclyn by announcing she wouldn't be reviewing her products anymore.

Jaclyn did acknowledge that her products were defective, attributing the issue to the fact that her team produced so many lipsticks so quickly. She even called the launch embarrassing, saying "This is my first launch and it’s very embarrassing… It’s embarrassing for me to see you guys not fully happy and I am so, so sorry that any of you are experiencing anything less than absolute perfection from my first launch and I will do whatever it takes to make it up for you."

Jaclyn offered full refunds and new lipsticks to anyone experiencing issues with her products, but still that wasn't enough. People on Twitter dragged Jaclyn for having such a disastrous launch. Jaclyn even deactivated her Twitter and Instagram for some time.

But it seems like Jaclyn's taking the experience in stride because she just poked fun at the drama surrounding her lipstick launch and she did it with a Halloween costume.

Jaclyn took to her Instagram stories to show off what she wore this year. At her Halloween party, she wore a tight black dress with the words "canceled" and "she's cancelled" written across it in a glittery red font. Jaclyn gave her costume an extra spooky effect by adding fake blood and scratches all over her face and body. She showed off the costume to "Love Me or Hate Me" by Lady Sovereign playing in the background.

While some fans loved the concept, others were upset that she was poking fun at a potentially dangerous situation.

Even though Jaclyn seems like she's over the scandal, it looks like she's taking the time to make sure nothing goes wrong in her future product launches. A message on the Jaclyn Hill Cosmetics websites says, "We’re taking a moment to rebuild so we can give you the best
products & customer experience. The future is bright, and we’re so excited for what’s to come."
