Jaime King shares never-before-seen wedding photos on 10th anniversary
Jaime King and Kyle Newman have joined the rare 10-year club in Hollywood. Now, after a decade together, the couple celebrate their anniversary this week, with King sharing wedding photos that even she had seen for the first time only recently.
“I’ve never seen these photographs,” she posted on Instagram, noting her brother Hugh Newman shot the pictures.
The collection of photos posted below starts with a photo of King, 38, and her sister, and goes on to include shots of her with her bridesmaids, including actress Selma Blair. “My best friends @therealselmablair whom we have shared 17 years together getting me dressed in the parking lot,” she wrote.
Other shots, seen by scrolling through above, include a photo of King walking down the aisle, another from the ceremony, and some insanely stunning shots of the Hart of Dixie star looking like the epitome of old Hollywood glamour.
King wore an Italian silk faille Calvin Klein gown “with a train so long it wouldn’t fit into the car,” she noted.
“My heart is so full knowing that everyday I have been blessed with the kindest, most gentle, brilliant husband/father by my side,” King concluded. “To my family and friends. Your presence sustains me and I am honored to know you all.”
King met her director husband in January 2005 when she filmed a cameo in Fanboys. The actress told InStyle there was a spark, and romance blossomed three months later. “We started hanging out all the time,” she exclaimed. “After one week, we were so close.”
The pair’s favorite Los Angeles restaurant, Urth Caffé, catered the wedding. “I find sit-down dinners a bit boring, and we wanted a more relaxed event,” King explained to InStyle.
Overall, the couple described their nuptials as a laid-back affair — she even went barefoot. “It was all very fun and impromptu,” Newman told the magazine at the time.

The couple went on to have two sons, James, 4, and Leo, 2. If only their second child’s godmother, Taylor Swift, had been close enough back in the day to be a bridesmaid, because we would’ve loved to have seen that here too.
