Crank up the DivinylsJaime King‘s latest Instagram post is an unapologetic ode to self-loving.

The model and actress — whose younger son, Leo Thames Newman, is Taylor Swift‘s godson — shared a photo of herself taken by acclaimed photographer Nan Goldin. The photo shows King wearing nothing but a pair of underwear as she strokes her exposed niρρles.

It’s provocative and intimate — and that’s precisely the point.

“For all the women out there, sometimes you need to feel yourself the way other people won’t,” the 39-year-old star wrote in the caption. “To know your touch is to understand that ‘intimacy’ means ‘into-me-see.’ To know and understand that leads to a fulfilment that may be shared alone or with others in loving and truth.”

The sex-positive — or, more accurately, masturbation-positive — message was met with a broad range of reactions. There were many fans who applauded her openness about touching her body.

“YASSSS! Let’s end the stigma and normalize female masturbation!” responded one follower. “There’s nothing gross or unladylike about it, no matter what a bunch of hypocritical idiots say.”

“There is no shame being comfortable in your own skin,” read another comment.

“Shameless, truthful, raw, beautiful soul inside and out!” a commenter added. “Rock on!”

“Magnificent — nothing like pushing your own buttons,” agreed a fan. “We all do it, and if we don’t, we are missing out on loving ourselves.”

While the majority of comments were overwhelmingly positive, a few people found the suggestive post to be “awkward.” One even threatened to report the image.

And then there’s King’s Pearl Harbor co-star Kate Beckinsale, who naturally couldn’t resist working in a joke.

“Just got arrested for rubbing niρρle in Katsuya,” the British actress quipped, referencing the trendy L.A. restaurant.
