James Middleton Marks the One Year Anniversary of His Engagement to Alizee Thevenet
James Middleton commemorated the one year anniversary of his proposal to Alizee Thevenet with an adorable Instagram post.
Middleton and Thevenet were due to tie the knot this summer, but were forced to postpone their wedding due to the coronavirus pandemic.
"I can’t wait to take on whatever the future holds for us," Kate Middleton's brother wrote in the caption.
James Middleton may have had to postpone his wedding to Alizee Thevenet on account of the COVID-19 pandemic, but that doesn't mean he isn't still smitten with his fiancée.
Sharing several photos and a video slideshow from a recent trip on Instagram, Middleton wrote, "It’s a year since I asked Alizee to marry me ?? … what a year it’s been! Two homes ?? lockdown ?? two attempts at a wedding?????, a litter of ??, launching of new company @ella.co ?? a beard shave ?? and much more but the best part is that I get to share it with you @alizeethevenet and I can’t wait to take on whatever the future holds for us ?."
He continued, "We managed to escape to Italy ??for a quick dip in the the sea, lots of ??&?? and now ready to face the world again- thank you @theclassicyachtexperience for the most unforgettable experience ????."
Because of the continuing pandemic, Middleton and Thevenet made the difficult decision to postpone their nuptials. An insider previously told Daily Mail journalist Richard Eden, "Holding an AngloFrench wedding is impossible in the coming months and is still likely to be difficult in the summer. They would prefer to wait until all their guests are able—and happy—to attend."
