Jamie Foxx Partners With TGI Friday's for Several Saucy Surprises
The actor is cooking up something delicious!
Jamie Foxx is teaming up with TGI Friday's to release several food and drink items with the chain restaurant.
The actor is incorporating his very own whiskey, Brown Sugar Bourbon, into Foxx on the Roxx, TGIF's newest BBQ sauce, which is sure to make you feel those cozy fall vibes!
The sauce was inspired by all of Foxx's favorite cocktail flavors and features hints of spice and citrus, along with chopped cherries, giving it the perfect old-fashioned cocktail taste.
But the fun doesn't stop there. Customers will have the chance to pair the sauce with a signature handcrafted cocktail called the Foxxy Mule. The newest drink will feature Foxx's whiskey, along with Monin Habanero Lime Syrup, Fever-Tree Ginger Beer and a fresh squeeze of lime juice.
"I've been going to TGI Friday's my whole life. I have so many great memories - from trips with my mom to celebrate special occasions as a kid to post-show celebrations with friends and family after my comedy shows when I was starting out - and to finally have the opportunity to create something for the Friday's menu and join the Friday's family with Brown Sugar Bourbon is remarkable," Foxx said in a press release. "I hope everyone enjoys our cocktail and the Foxx on the Roxx sauce as much as I did creating them."
Starting Oct. 4, fans of the chain restaurant will be able to score a tasty deal that includes a half rack of ribs smothered in the Foxx on the Roxx BBQ sauce and six traditional wings and fries, all for $19.99! To get your hands on this exclusive deal, visit Fridays.com.
TGIFs is also bringing back their "Make It a Double" deal to celebrate fall, allowing fans to enjoy their favorite menu combinations all in one meal. The Crispy Whiskey Combo, which includes a half-rack of pork ribs and cajun seasoned fried shrimp, and the surf 'N' Whiskey Turf, featuring a 6-ounce grilled sirloin and cajun seasoned fried shrimp, are both available during the fall season with the new Foxx on the Roxx BBQ sauce.
"We're all about bringing our mission of 'lifting spirits' to our guests - and we can't think of any better way of doing this than partnering with Jamie Foxx and BSB on the 'season of saucy,'" said chief executive officer Ray Blanchette. "We've worked really closely with Jamie and the BSB team to bring our guests flavors that are authentic to Jamie with an all-new flavor profile that we know our guests will love."
