Jamie Lee Curtis, Rosario Dawson and More Pay Tribute to Legendary Actress Cindy Williams

The 'Laverne & Shirley' star's passing was confirmed on Monday.

Following actress Cindy Williams' death, celebrities from all genres and generations of Hollywood are remembering the star online.

As Parade previously reported, the Laverne & Shirley star's family confirmed the actress passed away in Los Angeles, California, on Monday.

Shortly after the news broke, Jamie Lee Curtis took to Instagram to pay tribute to the beloved actress.

"Cindy was AMAZING! Such a great, natural comedian," she wrote alongside a black and white photo of Williams. "So wide open. Such a sad loss."

Rosario Dawson shared a few words on Twitter alongside a clip from Laverne & Shirley, "Singing this song with so much gratitude for both of you ladies. Absolute gems. United again… Rest in Paradise Cindy Williams."

Filmmaker Meg Foster also remembered the late comedian on Twitter, writing, "I had the privilege to direct Cindy Williams in an indie film called Stealing Roses (with John Heard). She was talented, kind and so funny. RIP Cindy."

The Mask actress Joely Fisher honored the iconic television star by sharing a clip from the hit '70s sitcom, "Oh Shirl..#CindyWilliams #RipLegend," she cried out on Twitter.

The stand-up comedian known as Dante also mourned the late actress with a touching tweet. "This one hurts. I was lucky enough to be in a movie with her and she also signed my diary on an airplane one time and wrote a really funny story in it," he called. "Heartbreaking. What a soul. Rest in peace #Cindywilliams."

Comedian and podcaster Jeff Dwoskin recalled meeting the Happy Days spinoff star sometime ago, tweeting, "RIP Cindy Williams She was so sweet when I met her."

News anchor Dayna Roselli grieved Williams with a sweet behind-the-scene clip of the actress on Twitter, "She’s was the coolest! #cindywilliams." In a separate tweet, Roselli reflected on the time she worked with the star on a video, adding, "Devastated. Such a wonderful memory."
