Jana Kramer permanently removes wedding tattoo: 'I got my anniversary date on my arm'
Jana Kramer has certainly moved on from her ex-husband Mike Caussin — and now she’s making it even more official.
On Friday, the country singer took to her Instagram stories to share with her fans that she’s getting her wedding tattoo removed.
“I’m about to go get my tattoos removed,” Kramer shared. “This one’s, like, almost completely gone. And I got my anniversary date on my arm, which is getting removed,” she added, pointing it out for viewers.
The singer later said that "it caused a lot of pain getting my wedding date on my arm,” so she’s expecting it to be equally as painful to get it removed.
The singer followed up with her post with another short video of the removal process.
"You know you want these glasses," she joked, appearing to be wearing glasses that protected her from the laser beam.
Of course, Kramer has a lot to be celebrating these days — including her new boyfriend, fitness trailer Ian Schinelli.
The item became Instagram official last week when the singer, 38, shared a series of photos alongside her new man with snippets of the couple embracing.
“Sometimes you just have to stop fighting it and listen to your heart,” she captioned the photos. “I don’t know what the future holds and honestly who does.”
“Everyday I continue to heal and I know there is still lots of work to do, but damn it feels really nice to find happiness along the way,” she continued. “To find someone who doesn’t look at your scars as a challenge or problem but rather helps you hold them and stands there to encourage you with love, strength and empathy along the way.”
Kramer and Caussin share kids Jolie, 5, and Jace, 2.
The former couple split in 2016 amid Caussin's infidelity. Though he sought treatment for sex addiction and they ultimately reconciled, in April 2021 she announced that she was splitting from Caussin after six years of marriage.
