Janet Jackson celebrates son’s 3rd birthday on Instagram: ‘The greatest gift of all’

Janet Jackson is celebrating her son Eissa’s 3rd birthday on Instagram.

The 53-year-old singer took to her social media to share a sweet sentiment about her only child, with ex Wissam Al Mana. But she continued her practice of keeping the toddler’s face private, posting only a professional photo of herself while pregnant, from when she confirmed the news with People in Oct. 2016.

“3 yrs ago today God blessed me, at the age of 50, with the greatest gift of all. My baby!” Jackson captioned the photo. “Happy Bday sweetheart. Mama loves you more than anything else in this world!”

Friends of the youngest Jackson, including Ciara, commented on the photo with their birthday wishes for Eissa, while others praised, “God is good!” However, one fan reacted with a bit of disappointment writing, “Aww I thought it was another one.”

Others responded saying that they forgot Jackson even had a child, since she hasn’t shared any photos of him since April 2017.

Still, Jackson has raved about the joys of motherhood a couple of times in the press. Most recently, she revealed to the Daily Telegraph’s Stellar magazine that she doesn’t have nanny for her little boy.

“I don’t have a nanny, I do it all myself,” she revealed. “Of course, when I’m working someone watches him, but it’s my baby and me.”
