January Jones Cut Her Hair Even Shorter

Not content to give everyone bob envy, January Jones enlisted her go-to girl Bridget Brager for an update to her already amazing haircut. In a new Instagram post, Jones showed off an even shorter length (Brager calls it a chin-length bob) in addition to the DIY pink streaks she debuted a few days ago. This isn't the prim-and-proper Betty Draper you remember.

She captioned a close-up shot of her new style with "fresh" and a scissor emoji. The angle shows off the chin-grazing length and the fact that the cut has plenty of movement, something few people associate with a blunt, sleek cut

Brager shared a few more details on her own feed and a few more pictures, too. She explained that the cut's precision comes from point cutting and noted that she and Jones almost decided on a very different style: the fashion mullet. She noted that the style's versatile and that Jones can do a lot with it, including curling it, bending it, and playing with it.

"Chipity-Chop We did it again, but shorter!! We even kicked around the idea of a fashunnnn mullet (another time perhaps) Anyway, #chinlengthbob point cut the whole thing (no short cuts!) and left the top layer of hair a bit detached for movement and fun styling options. No layers or hollowing - instead we kept a lot of weight in the back..." she wrote. "This cut can be styled simply -like so BUT it’s meant to be curled and bent and fussed with! Which is why it’s perfect for @januaryjones she has no fear when it comes to hair and is so good (too good) at styling it herself. Ha! Ohhh just wait!"

As for those pink streaks, Jones posted about them earlier this week, writing, "just gave myself some pink highlights, rather impressed with myself tbh." And judging by the fact that Brager didn't do anything to them, the at-home color job gets the celeb stylist seal of approval.
