Over the weekend, as the impeachment inquiry into President Trump continues in the House, Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump celebrated their tenth wedding anniversary by hosting an event at Camp David.

Per CNN, which confirmed the news with a White House official, the couple, who are not only Trump's daughter and son-in-law, but also senior members of his administration, threw a "big party with friends" to mark the milestone.

CNN also confirmed that the couple will be paying all costs of the event. That same White House official said, "Expenses at Camp David are covered by the family. Jared and Ivanka will be paying out of pocket."

But there seems to be a bit of confusion regarding who, exactly, is picking up the tab for the shindig.

Following criticism that such a party would cost taxpayer dollars, the President tweeted, "Had a beautiful dinner last night at Camp David in celebration of the 10th Wedding Anniversary of Ivanka and Jared. Attended by a small number of family and friends, it could not have been nicer. Camp David is a special place. Cost of the event will be totally paid for by me!"

Previously, Trump has had less-than-kind words about the presidential retreat. "Camp David is very rustic. It's nice, you'd like it," he reportedly told a European journalist. "You know how long you'd like it? For about 30 minutes."

Vanity Fair's Emily Jane Fox was the first to report on the party. She noted that "all of the couple's siblings" were expected to attend, in addition to the President.

Jared and Ivanka tied the knot in 2009 at her father's golf course in Bedminster, New Jersey.
