Jason Kelce Praised After Signing McDonald's Employee's Eagles Jersey at Drive-Thru

Danielle Bonham, an employee at the Broomall, Pennsylvania-based McDonald's, was stunned to see Jason Kelce the first time he rolled up to her drive-thru window.

Now that she's had multiple opportunities to serve the footballer a sausage, egg and cheese, they're on a first-name basis, but it didn't dampen the surprise any when he showed up the morning after news of his reported retirement from the league leaked—which he has since clarified is not a finalized decision—to sign her Kelly Green Eagles jersey, as reported by Philadelphia's local Fox affiliate.

The two posed for a photo, with the star center smiling brightly from the driver's seat of his car and Bonham leaning back against the window to show off her new merch, which Kelce addressed to her before signing his name and writing, "Go Birds! Thank You!" in the 2 of his jersey number.

It didn't take long for the sweet interaction to go viral. With one fan writing on X (formerly Twitter), "All class Jason - all the best man."

Another chimed in with, "This dude is an absolute legend!!"

A third added, "Love it, this is a class act."

As for Bonham? She added, "I’m forever grateful and very fortunate to have crossed paths with him as many times as I did, and I just wish him nothing but the best."

The outlet also spoke with several other business owners in Kelce's current hometown, proving that he is the nicest football star out there.

While plenty of neighbors are disappointed that the day is fast approaching where they'll no longer see him on the field, they're looking forward to seeing more of him around town.

"I know he’s getting older, has a family, that’s the plus of retiring, but the negative is we don’t get to see him on the field anymore. That will, hopefully, mean we see him more here," the owner of Havertown Grille told the publication, sharing that Kelce is known to "open doors for older people, he’ll approach the kids and offer an autograph, he doesn’t hold back, he’s the kind of person you would hope for in terms of a customer."

Carl Henderson, another local owner, agreed. "He’s got his footprint all over this town. The flower shop over here, the Wawa, the Kettle down on the boulevard, I mean he’s all over St. Dennis fair with his kids. I’ve seen a lot of athletes come and go, but Jason’s a special dude."
