Jason Kelce Reacts to 'Sexiest Man Alive' Nomination

It's the most wonderful time of the year—the time where People puts together a comprehensive list—photos and all—of the sexiest men alive.

Yeah, it's kind of a big deal—one that Jason Kelce doesn't quite get after discovering that he was in the running.

The Eagles center was one of six sexy men teased by the publication ahead of the official reveal of Patrick Dempsey as the winner of this year's title, but when Kelce caught wind of the honor on Twitter, he shared an unexpected reaction to the news, retweeting the post with a simple message: "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder…"

On a more serious note, the NFL star, 36, dished on the title in an interview with SportsRadio 94WIP, where they asked his opinion on his own level of sexiness.

He joked, “I’m not even the sexiest man in my family, let alone sexiest man alive.” But, ultimately, he thinks it’s “fun,” pointing to the exponential growth in publicity around his family ever since his brother Travis Kelce started dating Taylor Swift.

“That was funny to see, for sure,” he agreed of the title, revealing that “there were rumblings” about being included ahead of time. “My marketing agent Emily, who kind of handles everybody calling me, she reached out a couple weeks ago to let me know,” he explained.

“I was like, ‘Hey! It’s not bad,” he laughed.

Pedro Pascal, Jamie Foxx, Usher, and more also feature in the special edition of the magazine, which hits newsstands on Friday, Nov. 10.
