Jason Kelce gave Buffalo Bills fans a shock and a thrill when he unexpectedly showed up at a tailgate party ahead of the team’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs.
On Sunday, Jan. 21, Jason attended the NFL playoff game in support of his brother, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. But before the kickoff, videos shared on social media showed that the Eagles center was also there to have fun.
In one video that Barstool Sports shared on TikTok, a large crowd of tailgating Bills fans were decked out in the team’s blue and red colors. Several people in the crowd yelled and cheered as they spotted Jason among them.
Jason then tipped what looked like a black bowling ball to his mouth and appeared to drink the liquid inside. (Some people online speculated that he took a shot of liquor from the bowling ball. Others suggested it may have been beer.) When Jason put the bowling ball down, he was met with cheers and applause.

Several TikTokers praised Jason for attending the tailgate, noting that the Bills “mafia” was “going crazy” seeing him standing with them.
“A man of the people,” one person commented.
“Literally my favorite person,” said another.
“New respect for Jason Kelce,” another fan wrote.
New Heights, the podcast Jason co-hosts with Travis, also shared a clip of Jason’s appearance at the tailgate on X. “Jason Kelce: Man of the People,” the post read.

Despite his friendly rapport with Bills fans, Jason traveled to New York’s Highmark Stadium with his family to support Travis as the Chiefs played in the AFC divisional round of the NFL playoffs. Jason’s support for his younger brother was evident when he landed in Buffalo wearing a T-shirt emblazoned with Travis’ nickname, “Big Yeti.”
In addition to cheering on his brother, Sunday’s game also marked Jason’s first public meeting with Travis’ girlfriend, pop star Taylor Swift, since the couple went official with their relationship last fall. Jason and Swift were spotted standing and chatting together in their stadium box shortly before the Jan. 21 game’s kickoff.
