Jason Kelce's Next Move Following NFL Retirement Reportedly Unveiled

Jason Kelce appears to have scored a new job after retiring from the NFL.

The former Philadelphia Eagles center is reportedly headed to ESPN to join its Monday night team, according to newly unveiled details in a Monday, April 29, report from Andrew Marchand of TheAthletic.com.

Jason met with multiple broadcasters after announcing his retirement last month, according to the outlet. The piece also explained that his new deal shouldn't affect the New Heights podcast that he co-hosts with his younger brother, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.

The news comes nearly two months after the former NFL star became overwhelmed with emotion as he confirmed his retirement from the league on March 4.

"13 seasons in Philadelphia and I look back on a career with ups and downs," he said while fighting back tears. Between sniffles, Jason then went on to thank all those he worked for and worked with.

At the time, the Super Bowl champ said that he's "very proud" of the legacy he leaves behind but didn't offer any real details regarding the plan for his future.

In the weeks since, he's been offered numerous gigs–including one from WWE's The Miz and one made by History Channel's Doug Marcaida–but only hinted that he was "looking forward to" losing weight and spending a lot more time with his family, which includes wife Kylie and daughters Wyatt, 4, Elliotte, 2, and Bennett, 1.

Now, fans can rest easy knowing the 36-year-old will likely once again grace TVs across America.
