Jason and Travis Kelce Rank Their Favorite—and Least Favorite—Thanksgiving Dishes

Travis and Jason Kelce

When it comes to Thanksgiving dishes, everybody has their own favorite! From turkey, mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese and green bean casserole, to ham, yams, stuffing and cranberry sauce, there's bound to be one item that comes out superior in the eyes of the eater.

On the most recent episode of their podcast New Heights, the pair of brothers—Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and his older sibling, Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce—are sharing their opinions by ranking their most-preferred holiday meal items, from most delicious to least favorite.

While answering a fan question that read, "Since Thanksgiving is around the corner, what's your favorite dish? And what is one that you absolutely hate?"

Jason decided to take the conversation "one step further," ranking the "top five classic Thanksgiving sides," along with throwing in a few picks that they "absolutely can't stand."

In true big brother fashion, Jason started off, mentioning "Mama Kelce's dinner rolls" as his first "must-have." Second on the list: green bean casserole. He then rounded out his top choices with mashed potatoes, corn, and lastly, pork chops. "Pork chops taste better than turkey, if I'm being honest," he admitted of his preference, also noting that their household was "big" on the meat item while they were growing up.

In response, Travis cut in, "I'm going ham, honey baked ham with the pineapple." He continued with his top choices, saying, "Ham first, gotta have honey baked ham," to which his brother responded, "That was a huge miss by me—we've already been over it. Good job, you nailed it."

Next up, "Mama Kelce's dinner rolls," and, of course, "gotta have some mac and cheese." Finally, "everything else is just like whatever," he admitted, after realizing that after his top three list, "This is where it gets tricky for me."

Travis did, however, note the necessity to add Hawaiian rolls to the mix to compliment the honey baked ham, and throw in some "candied yams."

In terms of the "biggest staple they had growing up" they both hated—turkey! As for the Catching Kelce alum, though, he's also "out on stuffing," casseroles, and cranberry sauce as well.

In other (controversial) statements made, the brothers made the joint agreement that apple pie is "the most overrated dessert"—and maybe we're biased, but it's quite obvious they just haven't had the proper recipe yet.

Since it seems the jury is still out on holiday favorites, which do you prefer?
