To celebrate the opening of Los Angeles florist Jeff Leatham's Orchid Show at the New York Botanical Garden (open through April 19), 350 guests convened at the The Plaza for the annual orchid dinner. The event is known for its spectacular table centerpieces, each done by a different designer and laden with orchids, but kicks off with a cocktail hour and the sale of rare and exceptional orchids, which this year raised $550,000 for the botanical gardens.
