Jeff Lowe Is Leaving Zoo in “Complete Hell” Before Handing Keys to Carole Baskin
Tiger King’s Jeff Lowe is handing Carole Baskin control of Joe Exotic’s zoo in a state of “complete hell.”
Tiger King’s very own Carole Baskin just won control of her archnemesis Joe Exotic’s zoo from her other archnemesis Jeff Lowe, and dude is not thrilled. Jeff spoke to Entertainment Tonight’s Lauren Zima about having to hand over the zoo’s keys to Carole and said he’d be leaving the property in a state of “complete hell.”
“I mean, because I’m not taking care of it as we leave,” he said. “The bamboo is about taking this place over.”
As a reminder, Big Cat Rescue Corp. was granted ownership of the zoo as part of a trademark judgment against Joe Exotic. Jeff has 120 days to vacate the property with his animals, and he already has plans for a new park in Thackerville, Oklahoma.
“It’s always been our intention to leave this place,” he told ET. “We don’t particularly like it here because of its geographical location. It’s not a great place for a business, it was poorly constructed, so we’re happy to let her have it….I wish her all the luck in the world, and she can have these 16 acres of haunted memories.”
Damn, this statement is almost as shady as the one he gave to TMZ. To quote:
“Considering [Carole] spent approximately $2.5M chasing her $1M judgment, we congratulate her on her new acquisition of 16 acres in rural Oklahoma. The possibility of human remains being buried on this land should make her feel right at home.”
