Jelly Belly Has All-New Harry Potter Candies Just In Time For Halloween
Accio, chocolate. And jelly beans! And gummies! Jelly Belly's new line of Harry Potter candies will have you shouting all of the spells-and if you buy the chocolate wands, you'll even get a full sheet of them.
The expanded Jelly Belly line comes on the heels of the Harry Potter franchise's 20th birthday-in September 1998, the first Harry Potter book arrived at U.S. bookstores. It includes a line-up of book-inspired candies, plus new Chocolate Frog collectible cards and a new Bertie Bott’s Every-Flavour Beans Gift Box,
Probably the most exciting item is the Chocolate Wand. There are four versions, all replicas of Harry Potter, Albus Dumbledore, Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley's wands. They come with a sheet of spells and come in cases with two six-count caddies. Harry and Dumbledore Wands come separately, and Ron and Hermione's come together in a mixed pack.
There are also Chocolate House Crests, which represent each Hogwarts house (Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, and Slytherin fans can all be appeased), and Chocolate Creatures, which come with two mystery chocolates shaped like Harry Potter animals like Crookshanks, Fang, Fluffy, and Hedwig. These packages come with collectible stickers. Last but not least: the animal shaped gummies and Jelly Slugs.
Sadly, these treats won't be available until later this fall. Plenty of time to have a movie night and make some Harry Potter-inspired recipes yourself!
