Jenna Bush Hager Celebrates Texas Rangers Win With Sweet Family Throwbacks
Jenna Bush Hager
Jenna Bush Hager seemed to be a very happy baseball fan on Thursday, Nov. 2, as she celebrated the fact that her favorite baseball team, the Texas Rangers, won the 2023 World Series against the Arizona Diamondbacks.
In honor of the historic win, the Today show host shared some throwback photos showing different generations of her family supporting the Rangers in Arlington, Texas at their home stadium.
Along with a photo of her father, former President George W. Bush, holding hands with a young Hager and her sister, Barbara Bush, Hager shared a bunch of snaps from her eldest daughter Mila's first-ever baseball game in 2019, with Bush and Hager's mother, Laura Bush, in attendance as well.
The 41-year-old wrote in the caption, "Let’s GO Rangers! This little girl in the old-old stadium IS cheering LOUD for her favorite team ever. CC: my Ranger’s bestie @lelarose."
In the throwback photos, Mila enjoyed a sunny game with her mother and grandparents, with the family rocking Rangers gear and appearing to have a great time. Fashion designer Lela Rose also made an appearance in one photo and seems to be a fellow Rangers fan and friend of Hager's. The photos took place in the Rangers' former stadium, Choctaw Stadium, before the team moved to Globe Life Field in 2020.
Fans joined in the celebration in the comments, with a couple of cheerful notes saying, "So Great! Congratulations on being the best in the World! ????," and "Love these pictures! Great memories for you and your sweet family!"
Another wrote, "I ???? that your daddy threw the first pitch!! Congratulations ?????? on the WS championship!!" referring to how Bush threw the first pitch for the 2023 World Series Game 1 on Oct. 27.
The love of baseball seems to be a family affair for the Bush family, and just as Bush passed on his love of the Texas Rangers to Hager, it seems like she is successfully passing on the love to her daughter Mila as well.
