Jenna Bush Hager is pregnant with her third child.
The Today co-anchor made the announcement during the show on Monday morning.
The news comes less than a week after Hager's co-anchor Hoda Kotb announced that she has adopted a second baby daughter.
Jenna Bush Hager just announced that she's expecting her third child! Hager, who has two children with husband Henry Hager, made the announcement during a segment on Monday's Today show.
"It's pretty sweet," Hager teased of her announcement, to which Craig Melvin replied: "Wait a minute...what are we doing here? Another?" It's a true baby boom over at Today. Hager's news comes less than a week after her co-anchor Hoda Kotb announced that she has adopted a second baby daughter, Hope Catherine. “I told Hoda that I was really worried about it because we’re starting this new show," Hager said, and she kind of had a glimmer in her eye. And lo and behold...!”
Hager, who joined Today earlier this year, revealed that she's "very pregnant. I don’t know how you missed this! I’ve needed 7 or 8 sports bras.” She added that the pregnancy was unexpected, but a welcome surprise. "It is a shock, it’s a lot,” she said. “We’re grateful. Henry needs the congratulations because he’s a little terrified!”
She also revealed that she told her daughters Mila and Poppy the news via their Easter baskets over the weekend. "They told the man behind me on the airplane, they told the people at church," she laughed, adding that the pregnancy had come as "a shock...I don’t know how I hid this!"
