Jennifer Aniston Relies on Friends During Split
After over two years of marriage, Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux announced they were splitting on Feb. 15, but thankfully, Aniston isn't going through it alone. A source close to the actress told People that her friends are what's getting her through the breakup.
“Her close friends knew about the split for several weeks before the announcement,” the source said.
Aniston celebrated her birthday on Feb. 11 at her Friends costar Courteney Cox's house, right before her and Theroux announced their split. He was noticeably absent, but Aniston celebrated the day by having friends over, and the source said “Spending time at Courteney’s always make her happy.”
The source also told the magazine that Aniston likes to host her friends and organize their get-togethers, but now that she needs the support, the roles are reversed.
“She has a huge group of girlfriends who make sure she isn’t alone,” the source said. “[Aniston] truly has the best friends. They are real friends that she has had for many years. They always support each other.”
Aniston and Theroux announced their split earlier this month with a statement, saying "This decision was mutual and lovingly made at the end of last year. We are two best friends who have decided to part ways as a couple, but look forward to continuing our cherished friendship." The couple also said they're determined to maintain the respect they have for on another.
