Jennifer Garner and I Both Love This Butt-Flattering Denim Brand That's Going to Sell Out

Kate Middleton is a fan, too.
Certain situations call for the best of the best only. As in, when you wear, use, or bring something along to said outing (ahem, like when you’re traveling), it’s because you simply can’t live without it. It serves an essential purpose, because when you are, say, traveling, there’s no time for nonsense, there’s no time for fuss, and there’s certainly no time for feeling uncomfortable in your clothing. So, it shouldn’t come as a surprise I did a double (nay, triple) take when Jennifer Garner recently shared she wore one of my go-to denim brands on a recent flight, noting that it’s also one her “favorites.”
Garner has a thing for leggings, as in, when she’s spotted out and about in L.A. doing her #hotgirl walks, she’s most often seen in the activewear essential that knows no bounds (Spanx’s famous Booty Boost style, to be exact). But, that doesn’t mean she only wears leggings; she has a thing for denim (overalls), and most recently, I learned she, like me, has a thing for Mother Denim’s ultra-flattering jeans.

In an interview with Thrillist, Garner dished out her flight favorites, noting she always prefers a window seat (same!), the best way to fight jet lag is to work out right away, and her essential travel items include a Tumi backpack, which I’m now eyeing to make mine, and Mother jeans, which are about as famous as the celebrities who have been spotted in the buzzy, L.A-based label.
Garner is the latest to sing her praises for the ultra-flattering denim brand — but she’s not the first, and certainly won’t be the last to wax poetic about it. Other notable wearers of Mother jeans include Kate Middleton, Meghan Markle, Jennifer Lopez, Olivia Wilde, and more. Fashion editors, like me, also agree that they’re among the best — and while yes, they are on the pricier end for denim, they are 100 percent worth it. The quality, fit, and, obviously, based on Garner’s most recent interview, the comfort, is unparalleled! In fact, they’re so comfy, they’re good enough to wear on a flight, according to Garner — even though, TBH, I never thought about wearing jeans on the plane, but I will now test the actress’s theory and wear my Mothers on my next trip. Stay tuned!
Aside from the flattering fit and the comfy material, I love that the L.A.-based brand has a slew of silhouettes available, which means you’ll have no problem finding a style that suits you. If you like the big, baggy denim trend that’s taking over Hollywood, consider this wide-leg option that I’m eyeing; if you prefer something more simple and everyday easy, go with the trusty Hustler option you can wear day and night.
Regardless which pair(s) you try, trust me when I say your butt is going to look amazing, and you’re going to feel on top of the world. It’s the Mother effect, after all! Shop some more styles below to see what all the hype is about.
