A small crossbody bag is great when you just have to carry the essentials, but some days call for a bigger purse — just ask Jennifer Garner.

The actress carried a black crossbody with a saddle bag-style closure that looked quite spacious. Her bag had an overhanging flap instead of a zipper and an adjustable strap.

Perhaps a tad smaller than the average messenger bag, this satchel is noticeably bigger than the crossbody bags we've seen celebs like Sarah Jessica Parker and Jessica Biel breaking out this spring and summer. Kate Hudson turned our heads recently when she went with an upsized fringed bag — but Garner's looks even a little roomier than that.
