Jennifer Garner Seen Offering Unhoused Man the Shoes Right Off Her Own Feet
One selfless act can go so far in changing the course of another person's day, and Jennifer Garner clearly knows the value of a good deed.
While out and about in Santa Monica Beach, California, she and a paparazzi photographer made an unlikely duo, working together to help an unhoused man in need.
The 13 Going on 30 star was sitting in her vehicle in a parking lot when she began speaking with the man, who sat in a wheelchair, before handing him a plastic baggie of hygiene essentials. Upon noticing he was barefoot, she hopped out of the car and knelt down, putting a pair of socks on his feet.
Garner even attempted to give the man her own sneakers, however, the fit was too small for him. In photos from the occurrence, the Alias actress can be seen chatting with him with only one shoe on, while also handing him a granola bar.
After spotting nearby paparazzi who was capturing the interaction, she then asked the photographer's shoe size, and if she could buy the pair off his feet to give the man.
“What size feet do you have?” she reportedly inquired, repeatedly. “Can I buy your shoes for him? He needs a shoe.”
Luckily, the photographer's size 11 wasn't too far off from the man's needed size of 10.5.
“Want me to give it to him? I can give it to him,” he happily responded, turning down the Golden Globe winner's offer to pay him.
The Yes Day actress then put the photographer's shoes on the man's feet, as the paparazzi even offered to give him a blanket out of his car.
This isn't the first instance where Garner has displayed her passion for charitable acts. Last April, the 51-year-old hosted a food drive at her home in honor of her 50th birthday, where her boyfriend, John Miller, her daughter Violet, and actor Adam Scott were spotted helping out at the event.
