Jennifer Garner's Fruit Trees Will Leave You Green With Envy
Jennifer Garner has the makings of the most epic fruit salad, almost ready for picking!
The mother of three is flaunting her spoils in a new Instagram video uploaded to the social media platform this evening, June 27, and our mouths are watering just watching as she inspects the offerings growing in her garden.
"Summer in my garden. ??," she captioned the montage, and it's no surprise to see the size of the 13 Going on 30 star's green thumb, given her extensive involvement in Once Upon a Farm, her food brand that makes organic, farm-fresh fruit and veggie pouches for babies and kids.
In the series of clips, set to an instrumental track called "Spanish Flea" by Herb Alpert & The Tijuana Brass, Garner wears a red, white and blue plaid button-up tied around the waist over a blue, knee-length dress as she takes us on a quick tour of her blossoming crops.
The video starts in front of a wood and mesh structure with a Once Upon a Garden sign mounted on the side. She walks around the edge to a tree, plucking an apricot and taking a big bite. "Mmmmm!" she reacted as the juice ran down her chin.
Next, she showed off a pair of growing figs, before chomping on a fresh nectarine. Finally, she highlighted apples and peaches still on the tree, taking a bite out of a sour Granny Smith just before the video cut off. "Apples are not ready," she admitted, shaking the offending fruit as she made a slightly disgusted face.
Fans were green with envy over the fruitful harvest.
"so jealous of your fruit trees! We had two plum trees die this year and my peach tree was hit by a late freeze! It is so sad!" one fan mourned in the comments.
Others requested a new episode of her Pretend Cooking Show once the full selection of fruits are ready to eat.
"Can I ask when are you going to do another Pretend Cooking Show? I hope right after these fruit tastings from the trees. ????????Bake some Fruit Pies or something," one suggested, with another adding a clapping emoji to second the motion.
Recently, Garner admitted that if she weren't an actress she thought she'd be a minister, but we're pretty sure farming would give that option a run for its money!
