Jennifer Lawrence & Cooke Maroney Honeymoon at the Resort of Your Dreams

From Harper's BAZAAR

Honeymoons are arguably the best part about getting married. For Academy Award–winning actress Jennifer Lawrence and her new art gallerist husband, Cooke Maroney, their honeymoon took shape on the sandy beaches of Sumba, an Indonesian island just east of Bali.

A source for People confirmed that the newlyweds celebrated their love at the exclusive Nihi Sumba resort, which boasts 33 villas and amenities like surfing, paddleboarding, horseback riding, and even chocolate making.

Not only are the nuptials honeymooning in one of the best resorts in the world (per Travel + Leisure in 2017), but they're also staying at the private home of the resort's owner, Chris Burch, according to People's source.

Burch's home, listed as Mandaka on the resort's website, ranges from $945 to $12,745 per night, depending on which or how many villas a guest rents. Some accommodations include a secluded location of the resort's property, a library, a fully equipped kitchen, and the best views of the ocean that Sumba has to offer.

The source added that Lawrence and Maroney spent their honeymoon horseback riding and visiting nearby Sumbanese villages.

The resort offers a variety of experiences that allow guests to get the most out of their stay. Whether it's surfing Sumba's iconic waves or going on a two-hour trek through a valley of rice paddies, there's sure to be something for every kind of couple.

Last year, Nihi Sumba was the site of Brody Jenner and Kaitlynn Carter's wedding, although the couple recently split.
