Jennifer Lawrence and Cooke Maroney Honeymooned at an Ultra-Private Indonesian Resort
Jennifer Lawrence and Cooke Maroney flew to the other side of the world for their honeymoon, People is reporting. The couple went to Indonesia's luxe and ultra-private Nihi Sumba Resort, according to the outlet.
A source said that while the resort has 33 villas, Lawrence and Maroney stayed at the private home of the resort’s owner, entrepreneur Chris Burch. "His residence, known as Mendaka, is available to book and has hosted its fair share of celebrity guests, including Christian Bale, who stayed there last year," the outlet wrote.
Photos shared of the resort on Instagram, by the way, are jaw-dropping:
The source said that Lawrence and Maroney have been horseback riding and have visited nearby Sumbanese villages during their time at the resort. Lawrence and Maroney were last photographed together in New York City on Sunday, presumably back in the city from their honeymoon. Lawrence was shot out having dinner in New York City with a friend on Monday.
Lawrence and Maroney got married in Rhode Island last month. The wedding had a fall-themed, celeb guests including Adele and Emma Stone, and an after-party that went until 5 A.M.
"They had a DJ and everyone danced for hours," E! was told by an eyewitness. "They played all the classics from Jackson 5 to Aretha Franklin. Nobody wanted to leave. Many stayed until 2 and 3 a.m....It was an all night party. Jennifer and Cooke didn't leave Belcourt until 5:30 a.m. They were the last guests to leave. They looked very happy but tired."
