Jennifer Lopez Brings the Drama in Giambattista Valli Haute Couture at Latest Film Premiere
If there's one thing we know about Jennifer Lopez, aside from the fact that she's the ultimate diva, a true triple threat-it's that she does not play when a red carpet is involved. Lopez consistently brings the drama, the glamour and everything in between. She commands all the attention on the red carpet. We wouldn't even bother showing up if we were asked to share the spotlight with her.
Last night's New York premiere of Second Act, a new film starring Lopez, Vanessa Hudgens, Milo Ventimiglia and Leah Remini, was no different. For the occasion, JLo wore one of the amazing Giambattista Valli Haute Couture finale gowns from the Fall/Winter 2018 show, in a shocking pink hue, with a mullet hem. From the front it looked like a mini dress, but an extra long pink train of tulle followed behind her.
In fact, her train was so long that she had to arrive by sprinter van to the premiere. She paired the couture gown with silver Jimmy Choo platform pumps, and her hair pulled up into a topknot-showing off her stunning diamond earrings by Lorraine Schwartz.
With boyfriend Alex Rodriguez on her arm, Lopez made her grand entrance into the the theater.
For the after-party, Lopez changed into something a little less voluminous and a lot more subdued. Her second act was a sleek white belted gown with thigh-high slit and ample décolletage, making it easier for her to pose with her co-stars without that train stealing all the attention.
