Is Jennifer Lopez a Charlotte? Her Friends Certainly Think So

Don't be fooled by the rocks that she's got. According to her famous friends, Jennifer Lopez's Sex and the City persona isn't the scene-stealing Carrie Bradshaw, it's Charlotte York, played by Kristin Davis. How do we know? Thanks to Comments by Celebrities, of course. In an interview with Access Hollywood, Lopez decided that her BFF Leah Remini was a Samantha, which she refuted on Instagram — but not before telling the world that everyone's favorite Bronx-bred bombshell is actually more like a demure Upper East Sider.
When Remini asked her followers which Sex and the City character they thought Jennifer Lopez was, her fans came out in full force. But Lopez didn't take it quietly. She explained to Remini that she was Samantha Jones simply "bc you are... that's all..." And in response to her being a Charlotte? She told Remini, "You're all delusional."

Remini got some backup, too. Chelsea Handler offered her own insight, saying, "Jen is totally Kristin Davis." Comments by Celebs captured the entire thing, from JLo's interview to her pals' gentle jabs.
Lopez hasn't rebutted her friends' suggestions that she's prim, proper, and a little bit Atlantic City, but anyone familiar with the show knows that Charlotte's not a complete goody-two-shoes. Sure, she may have a thing for tea dresses and headbands, but she did have a huge rock and a penchant for the finer things in life. If that's not JLo, what is?
