Jennifer Roth's alleged racial tweets resurface after her engagement to NFL player Charles Leno Jr.
People quickly lost excitement for NFL player Charles Leno Jr.’s romantic proposal to girlfriend Jennifer Roth after some racially charged tweets turned up that she had allegedly posted earlier.
On Sunday, the Chicago Bears lineman, 27, proposed to his girlfriend of five years after he and his team beat Wisconsin’s Green Bay Packers. In front of a roaring crowd, Leno kneeled on Soldier Field, his team’s home base, and presented Rothman with a ring.
“Jennifer Marie Roth, would you love to be Jennifer Marie Leno?” he asked. “Will you? Will you accept? I love you, baby.” Roth excitedly accepted, and the Bears tweeted a video of the proposal, which was viewed millions of times.
SHE SAID YES!

But soon Twitter users started hunting through Roth’s timeline and found racially charged tweets from 2012 referring to “Ghetto people” and using the N-word.
“It’s funny how black guys treat white girls on the campus,” Roth allegedly tweeted in 2012. “It makes me wanna go back to talking to white guys.”
Other screencaptured tweets allegedly from Roth said things like “B****es think they slick but then they act like [N-word],” “Damn all my [N-word] took a loss tonight in the NBA,” and “These hoes be actin’ up and these [N-word] be lettin’ ’em.”
Roth also allegedly tweeted, “Ghetto people are always naming their kids after stuff they can’t afford: Mercedes, Diamond, Bentley, Pearl, Light Bill, Rent, Car Insurance.”
I am not a big fan of when something good happens to someone digging through their old tweets, but some of Leno Jr's GFs are pretty bad https://t.co/60Hk1fFXbx pic.twitter.com/VvNkIwxo8I

I’ll never understand why Black professional athletes seem to love them some Black-fetishizing, white women with lowkey racist tendencies & think saying “nigga” is ok. Bc its really not, you’re a public figure & you tweeted like this. But if yall happy congrats I guess. pic.twitter.com/EfqDI9Ucif

BET published other screenshots of Roth’s alleged tweets, which said among other comments, “I like seeing white guys with black girls because mixed babies are so cute, lol.”
Roth’s Twitter account is private, and she did not return Yahoo Lifestyle’s request for comment. Representatives for Leno Jr. also did not respond to our request for comment.
White friends: If your racist tweets from 2009 (or prior to our connection) resurface. You are not allowed to cite our relationship as evidence that you are not racist. I'm not that type of Black friend. You on your own. #blackfriend #jenniferroth

How can a Black Man get involved with a white woman who harbors stereotypical & fetish views of black men. Most if not all think this way. Yet, brothers still deal with these conniving females. But some brothers are cool with this. Irrational. smh #CharlesLenoJr #JenniferRoth
