Jenny Packham Pre-Fall 2024
Jenny Packham looked to London, and New York, in the glam rock years, and thinking about Jerry Hall, David Bowie and Roxy Music lead singer Bryan Ferry wearing his Antony Price suits with Elvis Presley swagger.
“It was a particularly stylish time, and it gave us a license to go full-on glamorous this season,” Packham said.

She worked her signature power shoulders, slinky shapes and love of shimmer into this collection, which had a bohemian edge with paisley patterns, jewel tones and draped bell sleeves for dramatic flourish.
Embroidered paisley shapes floated down the front of a blue stretch crepe dress, while other swirling Indian textile patterns appeared as sparkling embellishments around the hips and neck of a teal green gown.
Other dresses were embellished with what looked like lavish maharani jewelry. The neckline of a long, black dress with structured shoulders was embroidered with crystals resembling chunky diamonds, while another gown was wall-to-wall gold beads and sequins.
Faux gems, meanwhile, adorned the waist, neck and sleeves of a sequin-covered gown.
While most of these designs came with the Packham power shoulders, others were softer and made for life under the spinning glitter ball.
An amber chiffon gown came with a pleated skirt and big, slashed bell sleeves, while another had a strappy, bejeweled swimsuit style top and a long sequin skirt. A slinky ruby red dress paved with square sequins and rocky crystal embroidery around the neck had mermaid appeal.
Packham added a few separates to the lineup, too. Among them was an embellished T-shirt blouse with a crystal-studded collar, and a square-edged jacket with sapphire and ruby starburst embroidery for all the rock stars who inspired the collection.
