Jeremy Allen White Shows off Shredded Physique for a New Calvin Klein Campaign
Jeremy Allen White is Calvin Klein’s newest underwear model. The longtime apparel company unveiled a photoshoot with the 32-year-old actor posing in the brand's iconic underwear. In keeping with his Emmy-nominated role on The Bear, White was photographed chowing down on an apple in at least one of the snaps.
White joins a growing number of young actors on CK’s model roster, including Michael B. Jordan and Aaron Taylor Johnson. White’s collection launches today on Calvin Klein’s website.
The photos, which will be featured in Calvin Klein’s spring 2024 campaign, were directed and shot by Mert Alas, a legendary fashion photographer who’s worked with Scarlett Johannson and Jennifer Lopez, among many others. Playing off of White’s Brooklyn roots, the photos display him against Manhattan’s dramatic skyline in both black and white and color shots.
In addition to his modeling work, White is earning some Oscar buzz for his role in Sean Durkin’s The Iron Claw. The devastating biopic stars White and Zac Efron, along with Harris Dickinson, as the real-life Von Erich brothers, who made a splash in the early days of competitive wrestling before being consumed by familial tragedies.
A video accompanying the photos plays even further into the actor’s NYC heritage, as he effortlessly rattles off secrets for navigating the frequently clogged avenues. “People get surprised when I say I still take the train everywhere when I’m here,” he revealed. “Also, I ride a fixed-gear bike. That’s how I get around the city, mainly, is on a single-speed.”
But White voiced some doubt that he can lay claim to any borough after spending so much time away. “I don’t know, how ‘Brooklyn’ am I anymore?” he wondered, half-seriously. “I’ve lived in L.A. for 14 years.”
