Jeremy Renner Launching New TV Series Amid Ongoing Recovery

The Marvel star is still healing from a near-fatal snowplow accident that left him with 30 broken bones.

Jeremy Renner is gearing up for the release of his new Disney+ series, which he says has played a major role in his recovery from a terrifying snow plow accident earlier this year.

Just months after the near-fatal incident, which left him with 30 broken bones, the Hawkeye actor took to social media to promote the launch of his brand new show, Rennervations, coming to Disney+ next month.

The original Disney+ series follows Renner, 52, and a team of builders as they reimagine large, decommissioned government vehicles and turns them into "mind-blowing creations."

“I’ve been on this journey for many years, and I started in my community by building vehicles for people in need,” the Marvel star said in a press release obtained by Entertainment Tonight. “But a few years ago, I thought, ‘How can I plus this up and create a bigger impact on a whole community?’ And that’s what this show does.”

"This is one of my biggest passions and it's a driving force in my recovery, and I can't wait for the world to see it," he added, referencing the New Year's Day incident that almost cost him his life.

As Parade previously reported, Renner was hospitalized in January after being crushed by a snow plow outside of his home near Reno, Nevada. At the time of the incident, he was trying to help his nephew get a stuck vehicle out of the snow when Renner was pulled under the snowcat.

Sharing the first official trailer of the series to Instagram on Tuesday, Renner told his followers, "We are all so very proud and excited to share with you all finally!!! Love you all ??."

He also promised that he would be making a return in the near future, teasing, "Im coming back very soon. ??????."

Renner also hinted at the show's arrival coming very soon, writing via Instagram, "As soon as I'm back on my feet, we are coming to YOU, all across the globe…I hope you're ready!"

While fans anticipate his return, they can also look forward to a slew of his celebrity friends to join in on the fun, as Rennervations will include appearances from Vanessa Hudgens, Anthony Mackie, Anil Kapoor and Sebastián Yatra.

All episodes of Rennervations will be available to stream on Disney+ starting April 12.
