Jeremy Renner Reveals He's Back Home Following Accident in New Update

Renner was in the hospital recovering from a serious snowplow accident since New Year's Day.

Jeremy Renner is officially back home following the intense snowplow injury that landed him in the hospital for weeks recovering.

The Marvel star revealed the news in a tweet reply talking about his show, Mayor of Kingstown.

The official Mayor of Kingstown Twitter account announced on Jan. 15 that the second season's premiere episode was available on Paramount Plus.

Renner replied to the post, writing, "Outside my brain fog in recovery, I was very excited to watch episode 201 with my family at home."

Ever since the accident, Renner has been sharing updates throughout his recovery process. Just a few days ago, he shared a video clip to his Instagram Stories of himself in his hospital bed as it was wheeled somewhere.

But now, based on Renner's tweet, it seems that he's been discharged and is continuing his recovery from the comfort of his own home. Many fans replied to Renner's comment celebrating the great news and sharing their support.

On New Year's Day, Renner was reportedly trying to help clear the way for a car near his Nevada home when the snowplow accident occurred.

Early reports stated that a neighbor who is a doctor was able to put a tourniquet on Renner's leg as they waited for paramedics to take him to the hospital. He was in critical condition, but thanks to the help of the talented medical staff, he is on his way to recovery.

The actor previously shared a photo of the healthcare providers who have been taking care of him on his Instagram Stories, writing, "Thank you renowned medical ICU team for beginning this journey."

Renner's sister, Kym Renner, told People of his recovery journey so far, "If anyone knows Jeremy, he is a fighter and doesn't mess around. He is crushing all the progress goals. We couldn't feel more positive about the road ahead."

As he gets better, Renner is enjoying Season 2 of his crime drama, Mayor of Kingstown, sharing his excitement on social media.

He posted a preview of what's in store for new episodes on Twitter, writing, "I hope you all enjoy the show. So much more coming your way @paramountplus."
