Jessica Chastain Favors Fringe in Strapless Blue Oscar de la Renta Dress for Independent Spirit Awards 2024 Red Carpet
Jessica Chastain made an ethereal entrance on the red carpet at the 2024 Independent Spirit Awards on Sunday in Los Angeles.
The actress opted for a strapless cobalt gown from Oscar de la Renta’s pre-fall 2024 collection, which featured leaf motifs and a skirt lined with fringe. Chastain added on a pair of patent leather Jimmy Choo platforms, completing her look with large hoop earrings.

Stylist Elizabeth Stewart, who also counts Amanda Seyfried and Cate Blanchett as clients, dressed Chastain for the occasion.

Fringe was prominently featured on the runways of Giorgio Armani, Alberta Ferretti and Bottega Veneta during the spring 2024 season. Bold blues have also been popular on the red carpet, with Anne Hathaway wearing a cerulean Versace gown at last night’s Screen Actors Guild Awards.
The Independent Spirit Awards, founded in 1984, celebrate the best films and performances in the independent film and television industry. The 39th annual ceremony, held in Los Angeles on Sunday, is hosted by comedian and former “Saturday Night Live” cast member Aidy Bryant. This year sees the introduction of a new category: Best Breakthrough Performance in a New Scripted Series.
