Not to toot my own horn, but toot. Earlier this week, we guessed Jessica Chastain would have an Oscar de la Renta-filled awards season, and low and behold, last night, she arrived wearing an Oscar de la Renta Spring 2018 ivory tulle gown with black bonded and laser cut ribbon tweed to the New York City premiere of “Molly’s Game”.

The Oscar de la Renta Spring collection was shown at Sotheby's auction house, which is fitting since the collection was a WORK OF ART. Creative directors Laura Kim and Fernando Garcia showed a wardrobe of clothing that mixed our favorite ODLR references (like that perfect gown shape) with modern, edgier flare (like splatter paint).

"We love the modern quirkiness of this dress combined with the classic structure," Chastain's stylist Elizabeth Stewart tells InStyle.com. We love that she looks like a couture spider that got caught up in a web of utter chicness.
