  • Jessica Simpson jokingly recreated a past magazine cover on Twitter and Instagram.

  • She did a no-makeup version and sweatpants version of her "Housewife of the Year" headline.

  • The 39-year-old uses La Mer creams to keep her skin moisturized and smooth.

Way back in 2001, Jessica Simpson appeared on the cover of Rolling Stone under the headline, "Housewife of the Year." On that cover, she wore underwear and heels, while pushing a Swiffer mop. Well, Jessica just made fun of that cover with a no-makeup, sweatpants, deep-cleaning version, and it’s hilarious.

In a new tweet, the 39-year-old actress, singer, and fashion mogul shared a pic of that cover, alongside a photo of herself now. "Housewife of the Year looks a little different these days," she wrote. In the most recent pic, Jessica is wearing tie-dyed sweats and slippers, and holding a whole slew of cleaning supplies.

The OG cover was shot when Jessica was married to Nick Lachey and appeared on the reality show, Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica. The show was a huge hit, but it ended in 2005. Jessica and Nick got divorced a year later, and now Jessica is married to Eric Johnson. The couple have three kids together.

People LOVED Jessica’s post, and many pointed out how gorgeous she looks, even without makeup. "Omg I remember this!! Then, now, you’re still gorgeous and such a role model of mine," one fan wrote on Twitter. "You’re still a beauty!" another said.

She also shared the funny post on Instagram, and a ton of her fellow celebs commented on it. "Same vibes over here..," wrote January Jones. "Yesss ! Come join #RHOBH ????," commented Kyle Richards.

Jessica has been totally crushing the no-makeup game lately. Earlier this week, she shared another makeup-free post, that time of herself holding a tray of layer dip. And, of course, her skin looked gorgeous in that one, too.

Jessica doesn’t get that stunning complexion by accident, and she’s willing to pay for it. She previously told InStyle that she’s a huge fan of La Mer’s $180 moisturizing cream and the company’s $275 moisturizing lotion. She also uses Epicuren’s herbal cleanser (which is more affordable at $29.50, btw). "I love how clean my skin feels after using this gel," she said. "Unlike most cleansers, it completely removes my makeup without leaving any residue behind."
