  • Jessica Simpson posted a sweet photo holding her 'labor of love' and youngest daughter, Birdie Mae, to Instagram.

  • Commenters showered the singer with compliments, but one troll spotted a potential nip slip and told her so in the comments.

  • Simpson responded, saying the comment was "flattering," and other moms praised her positive attitude.

Jessica Simpson has been through a lot in the last year, and she's come out glowing. Case in point: She recently shared a sweet photo of herself holding her youngest daughter, Birdie Mae, on Instagram.

Simpson appears to be totally makeup-free, and her complexion looks absolutely flawless just like her baby girl's. The singer and fashion designer captioned the photo: "My little labor of love this year #BIRDIEMAE." The beautiful mother-daughter pair should be the star of the post. However, a few commenters thought Simpson's bare face wasn't the only area she left a bit, um, exposed.

One troll suggested Simpson had a nip slip in a comment. She is wearing a top with a lower neckline in the photo, but Jessica's still totally covered.

She took the commenter's unsolicited opinion right in stride and shot back, responding, "I think it's flattering that you think my nipple is that high up! ??" Her sense of humor and positive attitude expertly took down the troll.

This isn't the first time the celeb has had to deal with social media trolls. In fact, Simpson has a lot of experience dealing with less-than-nice online comments, generally in the mom-shaming realm.

But fellow moms praised the star's relatable clapback. One commenter shared: "Haha!! Yes mama I'm with you on the nipple... that is a total compliment. It would be for me too! I love your outlook Jessica I always have!!"
