It might feel like BTS became famous overnight, but they have actually been hustling for years. The band made their official debut in 2013, but each member's journey to joining the band extends way beyond that year. Their first album wasn't a commercial hit and actually sold pretty poorly in South Korea. But since 2013, BTS has evolved into one of the world's biggest boy bands and it wasn't by coincidence. The boys work really hard to put out non-stop content and it has paid off. In April 2019, BTS became the first Asian act to achieve more than 5 billion streams on Spotify. Getting to where they are now wasn't a straight path. In their recent docu-series, Bring the Soul, Jimin actually gets emotional talking to Jungkook about BTS's "hard times."

The docu-series is a followup to their movie Bring the Soul: The Movie, which premiered in early summer 2019. The movie follows the group as they set out on the Love Yourself world tour of 2018.

The docu-series offers a raw behind-the-scenes look at the boys and one particular moment in the third episode had armies everywhere reaching for a tissue. In episode three called "Relationship," Jimin opens up to Jungkook while the two are having dinner after a concert.

Jimin begins his story by saying, "I came to the hotel and asked for more soju. Then, I said I'm really lonely."

"I cried talking about the members," he added.

Jungkook then teases Jimin by asking him if his tears were because he likes the group's members so much, but Jimin decided to get super real by saying, "Not because I like you guys so much, but because you guys were all going through hard times. I was too."

Jimin then revealed that people tried to offer him advice when he was going through a rough time. "Everyone was telling me not to think too much into it. But in my opinion, we are a team and we'll be together in the future, so how can I not care? I kept saying that's not a team then. You know what I’m talking about right? You understand it’s impossible not to care," Jimin said.

Jimin just proved that BTS's camaraderie isn't just an act, but they genuinely do care about each other. This moment made BTS fans swoon even more and I honestly I don't blame them.
